Area wine aficionados are thrilled with the new Wine Storage Room inside the recently opened Big Jim Self Storage at 15107 Garnet Tr in Lakewood Ranch Fl. This storage facility opened in Sept 2018 and is located just 1/2 mile east of Lorraine Rd on SR 70. The Wine Storage Room is 2,200 SF and houses 86 custom Wine Lockers in various sizes. Expert carpenters and craftsmen worked tirelessly over many months using the finest wood available to construct wine lockers. The result is a spectacular Wine Room which is now the new standard for Wine Storage in Lakewood Ranch.

This Wine Storage Room was designed and built to provide the absolutely perfect environment for your wines. The temperature and humidity inside the room are electronically monitored and controlled to protect your wines at all times. The lockers were built using wood slats to provide maximum ventilation and a constant temperature among all the lockers. As an added protection, a stand-by propane generator provides continuous electrical power to the cooling system in the event of a power outage.

To provide optimal security, the wine room is under 24-hour video surveillance and a personal security code is required for entry.  The room is accessible 365 days a year and, for your convenience, wine deliveries are accepted by our staff at no extra charge.
